TOOL library
Web design is a tool-heavy job, and I’ve tried a lot of them. These are the ones I’ve used and loved for years.
Some of these are affiliate links that save you money and/or earn me money. I only recommend stuff that I use regularly and love heartily.
Eventually.
Ticketing that looks like your site + runs through your checkout, w/no per-ticket fees.
SiteViewer
The design feedback tool I use - a new alternative to Markup, Workflow, and Pastel. Lifetime deal option.
Squarekicker
Extension that supercharges the Squarespace editor. Also some solid templates.
Wispr Flow
I type pretty fast (~80wpm) but nothing beats voice to text. And this is the best one yet.
Launch Call
What clients book when it’s launch time: a live call where we review, fix, and publish their site together.
Squarespace Font Directory
I use this to pick fonts in Squarespace—a fast, filterable directory that shows everything.
Ground Ctrl
A FREE devtools-style plugin for Squarespace pros by Beyondspace. Yes, it’s named for the Bowie song.
Responsively
Test your websites in multiple viewports at once, and easily grab screenshots while you’re at it.
GoCardless
For avoiding credit card fees by taking direct debit/ACH payments. Great for subscriptions too.
