CHALLENGE

Fr. Peter Lebhar moved his family to Tampa in August 2025 to plant a church that did not exist yet: no building, no congregation, no logo, and a first preview service set for Palm Sunday. Before launch, a planter’s website has one job: let a curious person see what the church will feel like, then take one small step.

Peter is by his own account a Luddite, and he was busy planting a church. The site had to come together from a few conversations and whatever he could write between everything else.

SOLUTION

I started him with a Google Doc of placeholder copy and prompts, so writing was fill in the blank instead of stare at the blank. The site is built around “come and see”: meet with Peter, or get updates about gatherings. Below that, what the church believes, what to expect on a Sunday (liturgy, community, care for the least and the lost), a carousel of Scripture and Book of Common Prayer collects, and three steps to get connected. The sign-up form feeds Clearstream, so updates reach phones as texts.

Along the way I built the brand too: a logo kit and palette that went straight to the sign printer and the business cards, and a magazine ad for the neighborhood with a tracked QR code. I recorded a full walkthrough so Peter can edit every part of the site himself, and he books me à la carte for the rest.

RESULTS

Live ahead of the first preview service, with a brand that matches whether people find Redeemer on Google, in a mailbox, or in a pew. Google sent about a hundred visitors a month from search alone through the summer, for a church that did not have a building yet.

Peter’s review says it best: the site “visually captures what our church plant is like in real life.”

CHURCH PLANTER, REDEEMER ANGLICAN CHURCH

“It truly captures the feel of our church”

Such a great experience working with Vic. First, the product: he built a website for our church plant, and somehow it truly captures the feel of our church. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback, especially comments like: 1) “it looks SO GOOD,” and 2) it visually captures what our church plant is like in real life. Second, working with Vic is really easy. I’m a bit of a Luddite when it comes to making things look good on the internet, but he had great processes and prompts to draw out what he needed from me, and then he took it and ran with it. Lastly, he’s professional. He responds promptly, communicates clearly, and is personable without losing professionalism. I can’t recommend Strong Sites highly enough. So grateful!
