CHALLENGE
Freek Media had already built a strong body of work across photo, video, branding, and web, but the site needed to communicate that range more clearly and with more authority. The business is not just a videographer with a portfolio. It is a boutique studio with 20+ years of experience, industry depth, and a story-driven approach that spans national campaigns and local brands.
At the same time, the site had to speak to very different clients without losing focus. Medical practices, outdoor brands, trades, retailers, and athletics all appear in their work, so the challenge was creating an online presence that felt cohesive, premium, and strategic while still making it obvious what Freek Media actually offers and who it is best for.
SOLUTION
I refactored the original site into Squarespace on a 1:1 basis, then continued developing it into a more polished sales tool over time. The updated version leads with a stronger brand story, sharper positioning, and a clearer structure around Freek Media’s core offers: photography, videography, and brand and web support.
The site now gives equal weight to credibility and conversion. Brand logos, featured projects, case studies, industry expertise, and a direct “Let’s Talk” path work together to show both creative range and business maturity. Instead of feeling like a loose creative portfolio, the experience now frames Freek Media as a serious partner for brands that want content that works, not just content that looks good.
RESULTS
Freek Media now has a website that better matches the quality, confidence, and breadth of the studio itself. Prospective clients can quickly understand the offer, see proof across multiple industries, and get a feel for the kind of storytelling and visual execution the team brings to a project.
Just as importantly, the site has grown beyond the original rebuild. What started as a straightforward Squarespace refactor became a more intentional online presence that supports ongoing conversations, showcases stronger positioning, and gives Freek Media a clearer platform to attract the kind of brands they want more of.
