CHALLENGE
Quennell Rothschild & Partners has a remarkable range of work, from neighborhood playgrounds and private landscapes to major waterfronts and civic landmarks. The old website showed the projects, but it did not give visitors a clear sense of the full practice behind them.
The new site needed to help public agencies, institutions, collaborators, and private clients explore a large portfolio without losing the character of individual projects. It also needed to make QRP’s approach, services, and experience easier to understand.
SOLUTION
I built a more direct story around what QRP does: creating sustainable places that connect communities. Large project photography leads the experience, supported by confident typography, a restrained palette, and QRP’s orange as a clear visual accent.
The portfolio is organized by project type, so visitors can move from public parks and waterfronts to campus design, historic preservation, residential work, and more. Individual project pages give the work room to speak while adding the context behind it: the site, the design approach, and QRP’s role. Dedicated pages for services, people, recognition, and collaborators bring the breadth of the firm into focus.
RESULTS
The new website gives QRP’s work a stronger setting and its visitors a clearer path through it. Prospective clients can quickly see the kinds of places the firm designs, explore relevant examples, and understand the planning and technical expertise behind the finished landscapes.
QRP now has a site that presents the scale of its portfolio and the purpose running through it: thoughtful places made for the people who use them.
