Tactical: A Squarespace Template for Guides + Outfitters
If you’ve tried to build a website for your hunting guide service, drone tracking business, or wilderness outfitting operation, you’ve probably hit a wall. Most Squarespace templates are sleek, polished, and made for tech startups or lifestyle bloggers… not folks who work in the wild.
I’m a lifelong hunter. I grew up hunting whitetail and turkey on my family’s farm and spent last summer in Alaska chasing halibut with my dad and brothers. So when I built a site for a drone deer recovery business and realized there wasn’t a single Squarespace template that actually felt built for the outdoors, I made one myself.
That’s where Tactical comes in.

A Template That Works as Hard as You Do
Tactical is bold, clean, and built specifically for businesses that live and breathe the outdoors. Whether you're guiding hunts, tracking game with drones, running backcountry trips, or hosting fishing charters, this template gives you a professional site that reflects the real work you do.
Every layout choice in Tactical was made with clarity and speed in mind. The homepage helps visitors immediately understand who you are and what you do. There's a simple call-to-action section, a place to talk about the kinds of problems your clients face, and a clear explanation of how your services solve those problems. There's room for showcasing your process, laying out your pricing, and telling your story—not in a fluff-filled bio, but in a way that builds trust and shows you've been where they are.
One section lets you break down your value proposition. Another lets you walk people through your process. If you’ve got seasonal updates or announcements, the built-in blog is perfect for that. And the contact page is as direct as it gets—with a click-to-call button right in the header and footer. Because if someone needs you to find a deer, they’re not filling out a web form.
What’s Inside
Tactical comes with eight prebuilt pages, including a homepage, services, blog, contact, about, privacy policy, and terms of use. It also includes a launch guide and a manual that shows you how to customize the template—no coding needed.
The design is clean but rugged. If you're in the fishing world, you can even tweak the colors to match that vibe. The hero image by default features my brother’s biggest bow buck—because this isn’t just a theme I made up. I live this stuff.
Get Online Without the Guesswork
You don’t have time to mess with websites, and you shouldn’t have to. Tactical helps you look professional, earn trust, and book more business—without spending weeks fiddling with your site.
You can buy the template and set it up yourself using the manual, or you can hire me to do it for you right at checkout.
