Baltimore Web Design from Someone Who Lived Here Fifteen Years
I’m Vic King, a Squarespace web designer who lived and worked in Baltimore for fifteen years. All three of my daughters were born in the city. I now build websites for Baltimore businesses from a few states south, with the same Charm City loyalty I had when I was paying a Baltimore water bill.
Baltimore, specifically
Baltimore is a city of neighborhoods, and every neighborhood has its own idea of what “trustworthy” looks like. A law office in Roland Park and a tattoo shop in Hampden need very different websites, and both would be wrong for a contractor in Dundalk. I spent fifteen years learning those differences the slow way: by living in them, working in them, and raising a family in them.
That’s the thing you can’t get from an agency in Austin or a template from a marketplace. I know what a Baltimore customer is nervous about, and I know what makes them pick up the phone.

What a Baltimore business needs from its website
Here’s what I build in:
A header that says what you do and where, in five words, so a Baltimore search lands on a Baltimore answer.
Trust up top: reviews, years in business, the street you’re on.
One clear next step on every page. Call, book, or quote. Never all three.
A mobile layout that works on a cracked phone screen in a Royal Farms parking lot, because that’s where the decision gets made.
Local SEO built in from the first page, so you show up for “near me” searches in your part of the city and county.
Baltimore buyers are loyal and skeptical in equal measure. They’ll drive past three competitors to use the one their neighbor recommended, and they’ll bounce off a website that smells like a franchise. So your site has to do two things at once: look like a real business, and sound like a real person.
How it Works
1
Free call
Thirty minutes. Bring your problems, I’ll bring a plan.
2
Proposal
Clear scope, fixed price, four equal payments.
3
Build
Four to eight weeks for most sites. Clean content from you makes it faster.
4
Launch & support
You own it. I stay in your corner.
What Maryland clients say
Andrew Lowrey
OWNER, PRECISE HOME MANAGEMENT
“Finally, a developer who listened”
I finally secured a website developer who was responsive, listened, and executed my wishes. I highly recommend Vic he made this whole process flow with ease and his immense knowledge in website design and more truly shone through.

“A site that grows with the practice”
After creating and updating my own website, I fully appreciate the amount of skill and patience that it takes to manage one. As the business grew I knew I couldn't keep up with the demands. Not only did Vic give my business website a beautiful facelift, but he also understood what my clients would be looking for and made it easily accessible. He chose a platform that will grow with my practice and create a smooth transition for new information.

“Like a member of our family farm”
Vic was so awesome to collaborate with! Because of his talents he was able to take our old website and transform it to a much better, more user-friendly version. Vic was professional yet felt like a member of our family-run farm! We are grateful for his vision and look forward to more projects in the future!
Questions Baltimore businesses ask me
-
Only for lunch. Every project runs on video calls, shared docs, and a build you can watch take shape. I’m back in Maryland several times a year and happy to meet when I’m up.
-
Yes, and I like it. I’m a chaplain and a church planter myself, so I understand how a mission-driven organization has to talk to donors, members, and the curious all at once.
-
Often, yes. If the bones are good I’ll tell you. If they’re not, I’ll tell you that too.
-
Most projects run $5,000 to $15,000. The free call ends with a real number.
